Dunn Bros Coffee

Eagan, Minnesota

Corporate shop. Uses their own beans.

Someone suggested that if I ever had the chance, I should try Dunn Bros. Well, they’re everywhere in Minnesota. Like, as everywhere as Caribou Coffee. Well, maybe not quite that prolific… My point being, I did have the chance. It would have been silly of me to ignore it.

Not feeling in the mood for something hot, I ordered an Iced Vanilla Nirvana. And let me tell you! It was incredible.

 Swirly, coffee, milky, yummy…

I guess they cold brew their iced coffee, and I’ve never actually had cold brewed coffee before, but it was a good first impression! By far the best iced coffee I’ve ever had. The amount of syrup and cream was perfect.

I also ordered a Black Currant Iced Tea to-go. That was good too. It wasn’t sweetened, and I’m not sure if it even had black currant flavor in it. The lady said it was half English Breakfast and half Earl Grey. (I love Earl Grey.) Anyway, it was pretty good too. 🙂

Atmosphere: Very corporate feel, similar to Starbucks or Caribou

Seating: Quite a few tables of various sizes

Style: Corporate

Prices: Low

Overall Rating: ☕️☕️☕️☕️

Ahhh yes! Dunn Bros. coffee. I must say I miss it. They have wonderful organic coffee as well. It is wonderful to be in one of their stores when they are roasting coffee! I love the smell of roasting coffee. They date all of their coffee so you know when it was roasted. I used to live close to Minneapolis, and you are correct, Dunk Bros. are plentiful. But you won’t find burnt and bitter coffee there. If I remember correctly, the Dunn Bros. on Grand AV in St. Paul also has live music now and then. Anyway, here’s to my personal favorite, Dunn Bros.
